THAILAND
Flying above the Andaman
Coast towards Krabi
We took a longtail boat to
Tonsai Beach
I loved the scenery from
the first moment I saw it
We rented a bungalow at
the end of the village. Very simple and very cheap, just perfect!
Smoking marijuana
Tonsai draws climbers from
around the world
I made it black and white
apart from climbers
Easy climbing suitable for
me. Many routes have fixed protection
Tonsai beach at low tide.
This photo is in sepia
Railay West. It's 19 Nov
and the rainy season hasn't finished yet
2 days later we could
finally enjoy beautiful sunsets
Climbing down slippery
rocks to the Lagoon
Very few people make it
all the way down and it's so beautiful and quiet
Lagoon is surrounded by
rocks about 100m high. There is little water at low tide
This amazing tree grows
near the path leading to the Lagoon
Railay seen from the
viewpoint
This guy took us to 4
nearby islands
Poda Island, our first
stop and also the longest, because of engine failure
Trees fallen during the
tragic 2004 tsunami
I think he was completely
lost
Monkeys on Poda Island are not scared of
people
The best (and cheapest)
lunch is served right on the beach
Tiny Tap Island. At low
tide it's connected with 2 bigger islands by sandy causeway
On our way back to Tonsai.
Railay is beautiful even when it's cloudy and gray
