NEW YORK AND CHICAGO. HAWAII - MAUI ISLAND (April 2006)   photos

The purpose of my trip to the USA was to earn money, but first I went to New York to visit family.  The city was like nowhere else I have been before, with tall skyscrapers packed into the small island of Manhattan.  Nothing surprised me in New York, probably because I have seen too many American movies.  Chicago, on the other hand, was a lot more interesting than I thought.  I really liked the green and spacious suburbs.  It didn't live up to it's reputation as the Windy City, maybe a little.  After all, it lies on the shore of an enormous lake, Lake Michigan.  It could easily be mistaken for a sea, with it's waves and sandy beaches.
I included a few photos from Hawaii although I didn't go there.  My brother took the photos with my new digital camera, and I couldn't resist the temptation of showing them here.
