Clouds keep coming up

A glory (optical phenomenon), it can only be seen when the observer is directly between the sun and cloud

My wife went back to Gokyo and I decided to stay here until sunset

By this time it was very cold and windy

When I saw this, I forgot about the cold!

After sunset the sky changed color. Mt. Everest is about 20km away but looks much closer

Looking south towards Namche Bazaar. Sitting here alone and watching the colors change was the highlight of this trip

The Moon appeared next to Everest and I just had to stay until complete darkness. Amazing!
