On the way to Santa
Elena de Uairén
In the bus I met Katherine
from Belgium and together we went to "The lost world of Roraima"
Day 1. We start in
Paraitepui and walk towards Roraima, the highest mountain of Gran Sabana
Crossing river Tec
Gran Sabana
It started to rain
We walk below 400m high wall
It looks impossible, but
there is a path leading to the top
It was dark when we reached
our campsite called "Hotelito"
Next day we went to the
edge but it was cloudy
It's easy to get lost on
Roraima
When it cleared we saw
neighboring tepui called Kukenan
Hotelito is situated at the
bottom of those rocks
Roraima
