PANAMA - SAN BLAS, PARADISE ISLANDS (Feb 2007)   photos

San Blas Islands are interesting because of their outstanding beauty and because of the Kuna people who live there.  I visited a few of the islands and camped on one of them for 5 days. The islands where towns are build are quite ugly, but the ones where only 1 family harvests coconut are spectacular.   The islands exceeded my expectations and the only problem were some of the Kuna people.  They see tourists as a source of dollars, and apart of overcharging (which is nothing new), someone stole money on 2 occasions from other people staying on the same island.
I´m not going to describe this paradise, just have a look at the photos!
